Grown with passion

At Harting Holland, our tomatoes grow in four connected greenhouses, with a total area of 30 hectares. Here we passionately grow two different varieties: the small, freshly sweet cherry tomatoes and the large, juicy coarse vine tomatoes. Each variety has its own character, but both receive the same care and attention. So our customers can enjoy tomatoes brimming with flavour and freshness.

Cherry Vita

Every year, we pack more than 350 million cherry tomatoes, under our own brand Cherry Vita or as a private label for our customers. These little toppers are fresh, full of flavour and crunchy in every bite exactly as a cherry tomato should be.

In our state-of-the-art packing hall, every tomato gets the attention it deserves. Our smart machines take up to 50 photos of each tomato and distinguish them by colour and size. In this way, we ensure that only the most beautiful and uniform tomatoes reach the packaging.

In addition, it is also possible to deliver the cherry tomatoes without the crown, so that they are completely ready for end use. In this way, we combine efficiency with quality, and the fresh, full flavour of our tomatoes is preserved right to your table.

We grow with nature. In November, we plant the young tomato plants, which slowly grow with the increasing daylight. The bigger the plant gets, the more sunlight it needs to grow well and develop tasty fruit. This is why our Cherry Vita cherry tomatoes are available from February to October, when they are at their best.

Vine Vita

Besides our cherry tomatoes, we grow our chunky vine tomatoes, which are supplied under our own brand Vine Vita . These vine tomatoes are sweet-tasting, juicy and rich in lycopene, with a full flavour that you experience with every bite, just as a vine tomato should be.

Before our tomatoes leave the packing hall, they undergo extensive quality inspections. Only the beautiful, ripe and flavoursome tomatoes leave our site, so every customer can be sure they are receiving a top-quality product. Thus, we combine careful cultivation with a careful packaging process, ensuring that the fresh, quality of our vine tomatoes is preserved right up to your plate.

Experience, attention and passion in every harvest

Thanks to our years of experience in growing tomatoes, we can deliver the promised quality time after time. Growing tomatoes is working together with nature: we follow the plant closely and respond to what it needs to grow healthily and develop a full flavour.

Our greenhouses house more than one million plants, carefully supervised by our dedicated team. Cultivation and labour managers ensure that growth and all operations run smoothly, so that each tomato reaches its best quality.
