Technical Mechanic
A lot of technology is needed to deliver a container of tomatoes, for example, we use geothermal heat, CHPs, UV sanitiser, aerial platforms, sorting machines and we could go on and on. Technology is incredibly important in striving for an optimal climate for the plant and an efficient process in processing the tomato. To keep this running smoothly, regular maintenance is needed or breakdowns have to be solved quickly.

What will you do?
As a Technical Mechanic, you are flexible. You work alternating fault-clearing shifts with your colleagues. One day is busy with many different faults, the next day there are no faults and there is more time for maintenance and the like. In short, a varied job with a lot of freedom, but when it is really necessary, you are ready to come to the rescue quickly. You will work in a team with 2 colleagues and will be based at our location in De Lier.

We pack the product and sell it ourselves. With the geothermal heat source that has been struck in cooperation with our neighbour, we supply ourselves from 90% with the heat we need.
